Men's sexual health problem

Men have other kinds of sexual problems including lack of desire and problems with ejaculation like premature ejaculation, yet impotence is the most common and troubling.

Erectile dysfunction:
The problem of an inadequate erection is probably one of the biggest issues a man confronts. Most men experience erectile problems on occasion, but impotence, also called erectile dysfunction, is defined as "the persistent failure to develop and maintain erections of sufficient rigidity for penetrative sexual intercourse."

What's the risk?

* Most men will experience an erection problem at least once. This could be due to stress, exhaustion, too much alcohol or simply not feeling like sex.
* Persistent erectile dysfunction (ED) is estimated to affect about 10% of men at any one time.
* Although age itself isn't a cause of erectile dysfunction (ED), the risk nevertheless increases as you get older: 18% of 50–59 year olds have trouble with their erections compared with 7% of 18–29 year olds.

Premature ejaculation:
Premature ejaculation is a common sexual disorder. Estimates vary, but some experts think it affects as many as one out of three men. Even though it's a common problem that can be treated, many men feel embarrassed to talk to their doctors about it or seek treatment.

Once thought to be purely psychological, experts now know that biological factors also play an important role in premature ejaculation. In some men, premature ejaculation is related to erectile dysfunction.

Risk factors:
Various factors can increase your risk of premature ejaculation, including:

* Impotence. You may be at increased risk of premature ejaculation if you occasionally or consistently have trouble getting or maintaining an erection. Fear of losing your erection may cause you to rush through sexual encounters. As many as one in three men with premature ejaculation also have trouble maintaining an erection.
* Health problems. If you have a medical concern that causes you to feel anxious during sex, such as a heart problem, you may have an increased likelihood of hurrying to ejaculate.
* Stress. Emotional or mental strain in any area of your life can play a role in premature ejaculation, often limiting your ability to relax and focus during sexual encounters.
* Certain medications. Rarely, drugs that influence the action of chemical messengers in the brain (psychotropics) may cause premature ejaculation.

Lack of Sexual Desire in men:
Lack of sex drive (lack of libido) is common in women, but quite rare in men. Even men with who have difficulty maintaining an erection (erectile dysfunction) usually have a normal sex drive.

What are the causes of lack of libido in men?

* Alcoholism - quite common.

* Abuse of drugs such as cocaine.

* Obesity - quite common; slimming down will often help.

* Anaemia - unusual, unless the man has been bleeding for any reason.

* Hyperprolactinaemia - a rare disorder where the pituitary gland produces too much of the hormone prolactin.

* Prescribed drugs - particularly Proscar (finasteride), a tablet used for prostate problems.

* Low testosterone level - contrary to what many people think, this is rare.

* Any major disease such as diabetes

There are some various treatment now for all of this issue like herbal medicine, herb or remedy that can enhance the mens sexual problem.
